After having watched my first episode of MRS. BROWN'S BOYS, it got me hooked. It was just sooooo hilarious, I had to have more.So, I watched the next episode and the next and the......Then I decided to check out Amazon to see what was really available on the market. Then I found this copy and jumped to it, ordering it on the spot. After watching all of it, I found every reason to provide it with a tick,,,,,and nothing, at all, for a cross.
Mrs. Brown's Boys will provide you with a belly full of laughs (and, if you're not careful, some wet undies!!).
I fully recomend Mrs. Brown's Boys, whole heartedly.

We were so excited to be getting Mrs. Brown's Boys but were so disappointed to find out the DVD's were not compatible in Canada. We are not able to view the DVD's. I would like there to be a notification on your site to reflect this so others will not be disappointed like we were. So we will not be enjoying this! read more

As a yank, we don't get this kind of comedy so I was delighted when this box set became available. I already had Season 1, but to get season 2 and the Christmas special, I didn't mind buying the whole set. The videos are incredibly funny and worth watching many times. Brenden is a one-of-a-kind. Thanks for sharing with the rest of ther world -- Oh, this is a PAL only version, but there are many quality DVD players for PAL and non-region 1 that you can buy, so just check them out on Amazon. Even with that extra expense, it's worth it to be able to see these videos. read more

This show is absolutely hilarious - especially if you have a wicked sense of humour! The first episode has you laughing within the first few seconds and this continues on throughout the show. The third episode, especially the scene with the bikini wax, had me laughing until I cried, I had to watch it again to be able to see it through the tears. This is the best medicine to get you through a bad week! read more

Great series, I love it, but not including the Christmas episode in the series 2 set and only making it available in a complete boxset is a money grabbing disgrace. It was actually the first episode of series 2 anyway, as my Sky planner had it as episode 1/7 and the rest of the episodes followed in the subsequent weeks.
Firstly - the majority of fans will have already bought series 1 on DVD by now, so those who want to own every episode are being forced to buy it again. Secondly, using Amazon's current prices, the series 1 DVD is £7.99, the series 2 is £11.49 - a total of £19.48 - yet the boxset including both series plus the Christmas episode is priced at £29.99 making the cost of this one episode (and a cardboard sleeve, wow) is a ridiculous £10.51 - plus the fact that series 1 is being bought again for no reason.
I for one won't now be buying the DVD at all, I'll just stick to keeping all 7 episodes of the second series including episode 1 (yes, the Christmas episode) that I recorded from BBC1 HD on my DVD recorder's hard drive.

I have recently been introduced to Mrs. Brown's Boys. It is a great sitcom. Perfect for a laugh when needed most. I was thrilled to see that this box set was available and will enjoy it again and again! It is slapstick, situation, and just pure comedy. I had several friends say that it reminded them of Benny Hill, as I didn't care for that show I have to disagree...Mrs. Brown's Boys is in a class by itself. I hope to keep watching for many years! read more
This is such a disappointment. Why can this only be obtained is a set which contains the first series which I'm sure many fans have already purchased? It feels as though we are being conned into buying series one again if we want a copy of the Christmas Special. This seems to me to be rather an opportunistic and sharp practice which I would never have expected from someone like Brendan O'Carroll who has always given the impression of caring about his fans. read more
